About‎ > ‎

"My current practice evolves around the role of artist as a commentator within contemporary society. Recurrent themes in my work are sociopolitical ideals and the appropriation of space outside the gallery for art making. I consider the artists notebook vital as a tool for the exploration and transformation of concepts. I use it as a method of processing, understanding and resolving a specific creative quest. It assists me in the expression of ideas and leads me onto the next stage of the journey. A series of images often emerges during this process. The series is a record of movement through stages of an idea, capturing motion, change and possibility. The process itself often becomes the final work."
