"Grennanmill Craft School
is housed in an 18th century grain mill on the banks of the river Nore
in Thomastown, County Kilkenny. The grain lofts of the mill have been
converted into spacious and well equiped craft/art studios. The school
was set up in 1981 and has now established itself as an important
centre of study in the crafts area and offers a wide range of
courses. The school is run and funded by County Kilkenny V.E.C." Blaithin Quinn was a tutor on the 'FETAC Level 5 Certificate in Art, Craft & Design' course at Grennanmill from 2002-2005. |
